Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending practice sessions for plays. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California during the following decade. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. When she converted to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return for a fourth season of production. Fourth season debuted on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online fan base.
