Butler began filming The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller starring Estella Warr, and William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain in November 2011 This film would also be shot in Copenhagen Denmark as well as New York City. In June 2012, she teamed up with Michael Biehn in the Los Angeles shooting of Treachery. Butler played a role in 2013's horror film The Demented with Michael Welch as well as Kayla Ewell.
